Default Just bought a Z

Hi guys! My name is Joe, and Im from the Pittsburgh, PA area. I just made a deal on a used 03 touring Z, I should have everything finnished up by the end of the week. I have been looking around the site for awhile now and there is some great info! I do not have big plans for the car, probably just do exhaust, pulley and plenum spacers and some wheels, then just enjoy the car! I have always loved the look of these cars and finally glad I can afford to have one! I was fairly active over at v6p, but we were mostly all accord guys, and as soon as I sell my accord, I will probably cross over to here!
If anyone has decent used parts, I will be on the prowl soon!

Welcome! Learn to use the search feature and you will love this place. Do not learn it, and I fear the amount of flames may destroy you......lol

I learned all about the search feature ovr at v6p and dealt my fair share of flaming too haha! Like I said, not gonna go crazy, but my cousin is a nissan tech, and I work at a honda dealer, so between the 2 of us, she will get treated well! He was alread trying to talk me into buying nismo parts! I def will not put ebay junk on this car, it was ok on the accord, but not this one!

Welcome to the community. Sounds like between you and your cousin you've got it all stitched up. Keep us posted on what you end up doing with the Z once you've finalised the deal.

Pics tomorrow, its dark! The car is in real good shape except the seats have some good wear on them, but as we all know, that is inevitable in any vehicle with leather! I cannot beleive hte heads this car turns, its crazy!

Get some good leather conditioner will help. But yes, they usually start to show a tiny bit of age on the bolster.

sorry, too early to give you sarcastic remarks. welcome and enjoy the Z! I agree with your wheel assessment but all in due time, I am sure you will replace them.

you already have a pop charger, thats one less thing to take care of. the viper alarm is a serious bonus.

LOL THATS MY OLD CAR!!!! The wheels were my winter set up sheesh lol.. I ran Volk SF Challenges on them 3 out of the 4 seasons. They looked decent til NTB FUDGED THE WHEEL UP when they mounted the winter tires on it. The filter on the pop charger could be cleaned. The alarm thats installed on the car is a Viper 5901. Cost me $450 for the alarm and $300 for the install but its the sickest thing i have ever seen and prob is the best alarm out on the market right now. But have fun with it joe and take good care of it. I def miss the attention the car always drew
