i am on my fathers insurance plan but im paying for that and my car. thats what i pay i promis you, and deductables dont matter to me we own a collision/custom center and ive been doing it since i was little. i can do bodywork and paint just as good as anyone else in louisiana so i wont be paying anyone

 

lol i graduated at 16 so thats a no go...going pretty well with the college girls so far though lol..and as for the rice thing everyones sayingm the only thing "rice" that i will have is test pipes and exhaust..i lowered it 2 inches and am gunna put a lip on the front bumper and MAYBE a wing..thats all though

 

to be honest with you i drive it to work(soon to be college) and back and thats all. i race motocross so that kills all the partying and getting drunk and stuff for me so i only drive to work and back..which are all main roads..not like i can drive stupid down those

Test pipes and exhaust AREN'T rice, but a wing definatly is based solely on the fact that you called it a "wing". Enjoy the front lip. After you lower it 2 inches, you won't have it for long!

Hey man, I love the color... And about everybody giving u flak, dont sweat it. It's just that it really is slightly annoying when we see youngER ppl (yes, I know im only 21) driving cars that they don't deserve (and this is just an example, in no way am I talking about ur case in particular, because i do not know, so i will not criticize), just because mom and pops got cash, when we had to work, and wait for ours... U seem mature enough (and than some) to understand where we're coming from. This is my 3rd car, and ive had to buy all 3 myself. I never had a car before I joined the USAF because I couldnt afford to buy one myself. And my past 2 ones were nowhere near as nice... And as for the ricer thing, I agree w/ halfass, the exhaust isnt ricey, as long as its done tastefully, dont go getting a fart can that sounds like tossing an empty coffee can down a hallway lol... Good luck w/ the Z man... I just got mine last week so, well see where i take the build . And all u ppl hating, com'n... seriously, wtf? Cut the kid some slack...

 

Yeah Mike, that Grill has got to go. A tow hook is a great thing to have in place when you are on the track. On the street it means one of two things, pure rice (and not in a good way), or that you expect to break down any moment and might need a tow.

Any pics of the car that show the black roof? I'm kind of curious to see how that looks.

 

im going to get a new grille sooner or later but it doesnt top my list as of right now lol i need rims..and ill go take some pics of the roof in a lil bit and post them. yes i understand that you guys think my mom and dad are paying for the car but i am, i work 8 to 5 and make more then enough. my note is only 188 a month being that the car was only 13500 and i myself(my money) put 5k down. im alot more sucessful then your avg 17 year old and thats the only reason i have this car

 

 

Hey man, not trying to bash or be rude but age does play a factor in driving. Not the skills of driving but the decisions made while driving. A males brain doesnt fully develope until the age of 25. Thats why teenagers think they know everything and make reckless decisions. Like I said im not trying to bash but just be careful. But you do have a really nice car man. I like it alot.

 

Thanks man it'll be alot nicer when I'm done with it. I agree that alot of 17 year olds make bad decisions but the car won't make a difference. it isn't that fast to be honest with you. I've got 2 vehicles, my other one Is a lifted f250 with 35s on it, with like 7000 in the motor(tt, computer, tranny, injectors, 4 inch exhaust and a whole Lot more). And wether you guys beleive it or not, my truck smokes the 350z. My 350 is stock of corse but everyone is making it seem like a 350z is more prone to wreck then anything else. Cars don't make decesion you do so wether I'm in a 350z or a cavilier my chances of doing something stupid is equal. Now see where I'm comming from

I agree with you there, but I have seen tons of wrecks from teenagers with 240sx's. Lots of them actually were not going fast, just doing stupid things in the wrong places lol. Just make sure you use judgement when you do those stupid things. Not saying you will but it does get the best of us sometimes lol. I realize the Z isnt the fastest thing on the road but its hella fun! Keep up the good work on the car, it looks nice.

 

Yeap lol you have no idea how much I'm tempted to go drift but I'm not gunna do it on the roads im a very safe driver

 

if you ever do, find a track. ive never taken my Z to track but i have drive a pontiac solstice. it was hella fun
