Default New here, but not everywhere

Hello all, names Johnny. I'm new to the Z community. I have been a member on Celica forums for about 9 years.

Since I couldn't afford the 350z at the time, in 2006 I got myself a 2000 Celica GTS. I have modded that until the present. And now I am in the market for a 350 finally. Just gunna be putzin around till I learn enough to start posting. Don't wunna be that guy and ask a ton of questions, cause like every other forum, there are plenty of answers if you look first.

Anyway, here is a pic of current ride, along with my buddies new ride. As I said, I am new to the 350z but not to Nissan haha

Look forward to meeting some Z owners in the Pittsburgh area, whereas there aren't many Celica enthusists around here!

You know what they say if you take care of your car, your car will take care of you. If this is the case you definitely need a 350. If you take care of a 350 the way you take care of your celica, you will be loving life in the Z!

P.S. welcome

the plans for the celica were seemingly endless, and almost feel guilty selling the project before I completed it. I still have some bare minimums I must reach before I sell it, need to do few finishing touches so the new owner won't have a reason to say no. haha

i cant wait to get one. however, just like the GTS, I need to get the 06-up HR engine. coming from the celica with 8300rpm, dual throttle bodies and a 7k rev limit sound like my cup of tea.

Welcome to the forum. Check a few Z's out before you make your decision, unless one is absolutely pristine. Nice clean engine bay by the way.

Those are two different engines btw. '06 has the 300hp rev-up, and '07-'08 have the 306HP HR.

So anyways, welcome

Yea, I learned that soon after browsing around here. I went with the lower model year anyhow, I wanted Lemans Sunset, obviously not made in the later years to my knowledge. They changed it to the solar orange, which was to bright
