After 6 years and 73,000 miles I figure it is time to move on. Saw the wild yellow and could not resist.

The 370Z is NOT a radical departure from the 350Z. Its very similar. I stepped easily from the 350Z to 370Z. With the exception of a few bells and whistles everything works like it used to and is in the same place. Feels like putting on an old pair of shoes.

First impressions:

Suspension: Nissan got it right. The suspension is reasonably stiff, and absorbs the bumps but will not rattle your teeth. An excellent compromise of comfort and performance.

Brakes: Akebono is what a 3,200 pound Z needs. I skidded to a red light several times this evening. A pleasant surprise.

Headlights: Another noteworthy improvement. Wow I can see at night!

Looking out the side view mirror I can see a hugh fender bulge for the rear tires. Pretty cool.

Not sure where the extra 40 horsepower are? Maybe above 5,000 RPM? Didn't get up there this evening.

Syncro rev match: Kind of a gimmick. After driving manual transmissions for 40 years, Its ingrained in my brain to blip the throttle. No need for the Z to do it for me. Besides syncro rev match will blip the throttle several thousand RPM. That's a BIG blip!

Overall I am pleased with my choice. The 370Z takes nothing away from the 350Z. It just makes some increment improvements on an already great platform.

Great Color choice..Well, you can't really go wrong with any color, but i really like the yellow, personally.: I hate having them plates up front but hey.. Congrats and have fun..
