Hey jus got me a new 04 350z enthusiast with only 67k miles..and so far i like it!
all i know that is done to it is a nismo intake,nismo exhaust, its lowered, and has 20x9.5 front and 20x10s in the back i think. but need some help cause i want to do more performane upgrades and i dont know anything about imports. all i ever owned were muscle cars lol so i'm new to all this...any suggestions?

 

If you want performance, get rid of the 20's...

step 1
get rid of 20s

step 2
buy intake header exhaust intake plenum, fuel, tune

step 3
if you are unsatisfied with this power increase of full bolt ons, buy a turbo kit

Just because these aren't muscle cars, doesn't mean they are suddenly planes or trains. Same general concept behind performance...

 

hey! congrats and welcome! I have an 04 as well. Do not worry about the 20s , 20s always look great on the Z, but they definetely slow the car down. If you want more performance, go for some headers, cams, a plenum(motordyne makes the best) I have a 5/16 spacer and I enjoy it. I think the most important thing would have to be a good tune. I have the osiris standard ,custom tuned on a dyno,and IMO its been mod period for N/A( if you want to call it a mod). Besides that, A good clutch and flywheel kit will give you that extra grip that you need. Good Luck and enjoy your Z

O and if you are going to go for headers, go for longtubes, or get headers and test pipes. Test pipes will change your life, no joke

 

ok for the longtube headers, would it require a shorty y pipe or not?and what do the test pipes do?and whats the plenum do?
i already read the new z owners things
and im not selling my exhaust or nothing on the car

 

how do i get the osiris tune?i heard about it alot
