Default Finally..! One to call my own..

Hey guys!

Less than 24 hours ago I bought my very own 350z. Yay! It's a 2008 with 15k miles, triple black. I now know what love is.

I like the clean and subtle look, so such will be my future mods. The very first thing I did was hardwiring my Valentine1, can't live without that thing. Now I'm looking for a good 2-way alarm. I've read some posts and it seems like many people think Viper5902 is the way to go?

Next will be a navigation/audio/video receiver with a detachable face. After that will probably come suspension. And then.. who knows.

I only have one picture right now, it's from when I picked her up this morning. I am completely green, so I'll be depending on your input to help me get going.

Welcome and congrats.

There is a lot of information to digest in the forum but you can find basically anything related to the Z if you spend a little time searching.

Congrats.

BTW. I think you're going to have a hard time finding a navigation HU with a detachable face. I may be wrong though.

Thanks, I agree! Just hoping I don't get addicted to wheels too early..

Hahaha Mine does actually smell like new and it's soo clean. I bought it from a Nissan dealer, this was his personal (3rd Z). He hand washed it every week and put wax on once a month. It's niiice.

Thanks. I'm a huge Amazon.com addict and that's pretty much where I buy everything from. Based on reviews, I found a couple of units I'm considering. I've never owned anything JVC, but these two got good reviews:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A2R3C9EKLQ57PZ

I'm really paranoid about leaving the top down and someone stealing all of my stuff...

Wow, a 2007 with 5k miles?? That's insane. Black actually wasn't my first choice, but as long as it's clean and in good shape, I wasn't gonna let the color get in the way. It's just so hard to find a nice one.. All of the ones I drove in my area were just rough, like whoever had them didn't take care of them. None of the ones I saw out of state were good enough of a deal for me to risk going there to get them. Oh, and mine is an automatic.

Both of those stereos look great! I would go with the JVC KW-NX7000BT like the bigger screen and remote control! Let me know how it sounds, I've seen some people have problems installing on bose speakers because of the amp... have not done the searrch in the forum yet to find out how they fixed it.

I just placed an order on Amazon for the JVC KW-NX7000BT, along with the backup camera and a few other Viper 5902 related things. Hopefully I get it all installed next weekend.
