Suspended?

Right now I have a bunch of parts totaling over 10k invested, I had fear they were lost which ruined my weekend. I got them back incident free but due to the scare am really hesitant to get into a situation again that causes that fear.

I need to find a shop I trust to complete and have lost faith so it will be some time before that happens as I need to find them, search diligently digging up dirt and then decide if I trust them.

Ah, shop issues. Totally understandable. Good luck, man. Your thread makes me salivate, so for selfish reasons, I hate to see it slow down.

I dropped everything off 3/3, the shop was beset by every imaginable issue except locusts.

I had enough and collected my ish.

I hate to laugh at your misfortune, but that was a great mental image. LOL

It might be worth considering some of the larger shops with tons of builds under their belts even if they aren't local to you for the build, and find a shop & tuner that is reasonably close for maintenance/ongoing stuff? Especially in this economy, it's probably smart to have a primary shop and a backup that you have a relationship with.

I don't know what I would do in your case. You could always come out to ZDayz next month & meet some of the shops & other owners there?

If it happened to someone else I'd be lmao 2.

I was being sarcastic re the issues, I do not have any faith they had 10% of the problems they claimed.

The shop you were using did their name end with motorsports and they are in Tempe? If it is them I have never heard anything good about them. Have you talked to the guys at Intense or UMS to finish your build? Anyways GL, it looks like an awesome build.

I'm not ready to post who they are yet, I'm trying to give him a chance (not holding my breath) to make it right as possible.

I am waiting for a quote from Pete at Intense.

Thanks

Parts are loaded up in my CR-V for drop off at a mechanic I used for over a year for my Acura that I know will do the job and I am kicking myself for not using for the Z.

He is slow so will be doing it for a great price.

CR-V loaded up, Wife has had those clothes in there for three months to be donated :P

Thanks.

After a 200 plus mile round trip in the rain.

9 degree difference between ambient & iat not too shabby!

I paid 3.919 in Phoenix before I left, 3.859 here.

How can a tiny town in the middle of nowhere have cheaper gas than a big city?????
