Please! Teases

Pm a mod to rename your thread! Nothing but new parts in here!

Just read the whole thing again! Great build pace I'm sure all of us wish we could keep up!

Only gripe is how ugly your exhaust is compared to the rest of your car! I would of suggested a longer resonator before the Agency Power! I have AAM and I noticed it's quiter compared to the AP. Due to the fact of the extra resonator between the y-pipe and the exhaust muffler itself. Agency Power exhaust doesn't have one. I'm sure you knew all this while making your current decision.

MOAR

Thanks, I appreciate the praise especially coming from you. I have read your thread too.

I always hated the AP. It was not what I wanted. The shop I was dealing with "snuck" it in on me.

I cannot believe how quiet the Magnaflow is. I am on the fence about the tip I have now but can't argue with being able to really enjoy the car.

This was at 8:30 this morning.

Old motor front timing cover open.

Clutch isn't that bad.

Timing is set & my only real fear is squashed. No contact between valves and pistons. WHEW!

Just got these from the mechanic. Motor goes in tomorrow, If I am lucky I get her back tomorrow!!!!!

He welded the extraneous water fittings that are unnecessary minus the oil warmer.

Yep, it was 350Z Motorsports. I saw the owner, Rich, in one of his pics on like page 2. Rich won't be shafting any more customers over, although I do feel bad for his son.

OP: Who ended up doing your engine build?

Thanks. I need to get used to the new clutch but the freaking torque is crazy.

I know you hate the exhaust but I need my quiet. I'm old.

The tuner just sent me this comparison between the old motor with quiet exhaust and now but it is one of the earlier runs before we got 302 TQ.

He said he is out of the shop until Wednesday and will email me the rest of the charts then.

Grats on your build. I live down in Queen Creek, so I probably won't see you much, but if you are going to the pavillions or firebird, let me know. I'd love to get a good look at your build in person.

Glad you switched shops before the "incident."

Enjoy your new-found power!

Yes, my 25% remaining RE050s were sliding around with the old motor and it was really bad on the new. I figured get them off while they have tread and I can get something for them.

They'll be up for sale soon.
