I know the feeling. Hydroplaning is not my idea of fun and going once across an entire 4 lane highway was enough for me. I picked up a set of 4 255/40/18 from Craigslist brand new for $300 and sold a set for $250, you sure as hell cant beat brand new rear quality tires for $50 lol

Motor has been in for a month, it is running great and I am loving it!

 

My base has cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is how I did it:

Installed steering wheel controls. Installed clutch pedal cruise switch, installed brake cruise switch, installed cal file cf41e over cal file cf43d. I have no lights on my dash but cruise, accel, decel all work!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car officially has EVERYTHING I want!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The stroker had crazy MAF correction issues with my FrankenCAI.

First I had a dryer vent hose which worked but looked horrible. So I spent 2x.xx on this duct, it is giving the same IATs when moving I had from the CAI (7-10 degrees above ambient).

 

These came yesterday.

I got the A pillar mount but don't like it.

 

So that duct works? I've seen a few of them like that and wondered.

At first glance it seems like it would be great, but then I wonder if all the bends and the corrugation of the tube itself would create a weird air flow that is less that the factory intake hole/duct.

You feel this was a beneficial mod?

 

The duct just brings air to the filter. There is no corruption of the air flow from it.



That is sitting still and it is only slightly warmer than the car ran without the duct.

You can go cheap and get a 10.00 dryer hose, it did the same thing although it is a pita to install.

 

I did not like having the gauges "in my face" on the "A" pillar. I looked for a cubby solution and did not find anything I liked do I did this this morning.
