Default Hi

Hello,

I have been a Z owner for a few months now and have been reading and searching the forums since I got the Z. I really enjoy this forum so far. I figured I would introduce my self and say Hi! I bought a 2008 Nogaro red base 350 with 6800 miles on it and I absolutely love it.

The only thing I have done is paint the calipers red and painted the stock rims for now.

I have about 1100 dollars to spend on it, what do you guys think I should spend it on. I don't really want to do any more appearance mods just yet, either stereo or engine mods. Which one would be more cost effective seeing as I just got laidoff from my job.

Saving your $1,100 would be the wiser choice than spending it on car mods.

Then you wait until you get the job and earn several paychecks first.

I agree, get settled in at your new job, then start having some add on fun things. You'll appreciate much more knowing that there's regular income. Then will be the what to get time period and lots of things to think about.
Now done said.... Welcome to the forum and the Z world...

So....what do you guys think first? Exhaust or audio? I was thinking a set of new tires and maybe a dvd unit, or a full exhaust system. When I get a new job, probably a winter car and engine mods.

You're going to need more than $1,100 if you want a decent exhaust plus labor to install it. Unless you plan on doing it yourself.

Congrats and nice Z, take $20 from that $1,100 and buy black paint to repaint your calipers and centercaps. Use the rest to save until you get another job.

Paint the centercaps?? The picture does not show the calipers red...so they would look better black?

To put the "Nogaro" argument to bed. In keeping with all of the other 350z colors, it's a racetrack. (i.e. Daytona, Silverstone, Brickyard...)
