I traded my 98 Mercedes SLK-230 in for a 03 350Z a couple days ago. I originally set out looking for an RX8 but the more research I did the less I wanted one. Reliability is a big factor with me.
The Z I got is all stock except for a rear spoiler the previous owner installed. About the only thing I'll miss about the Mercedes is the Vario roof but in Seattle you don't get to use it all that much anyway. I've never liked rag tops so that was out when looking for a Z. My son owns a 1984 300ZX Turbo as a second car. He restored it and loves it. He says I made a good choice. So far I'm really liking it. I used to frequent the SLK 230 forums but now I guess you guys will have to put up with me. So, hello to all and Happy Holidays.
