I'm from the Akron/ Canton area of Ohio and New to the site. Just saying hello. Seems like a great place to go for info. I own a 2003 350z Touring 6spd with 21k miles and Can't wait to take her out of the garage in the spring. For the winter I'm driving a 1996 Honda Prelude SI.



Here's a Picture of me at the local Akron AutoX starting line this past summer. All stock for now. Hopefully I have something to contribute to you guys.

Hey, Thanks. Nope no helmets required just a release form and 5 bucks to race all day. They take times and starting next year there will be different classes and an actual competition held. This year was just kind of a test run to see if it could be done without everyone being idiots.

The race is actually held in an abandoned mall parking lot. We have run of pretty much the full thing this coming year (or so I hear). The mall was formerly Rolling Acres mall in Akron.

And yeah, I got extremely lucky with this car. I found it just driving through a neighborhood. I bought it off a widow who's husband never really got to drive it. It had 7,500 miles on it when I bought it in 2010. Everything mint.

 

Hey, I'm from Solon, and have a job in the Akron Symphony! We gotta go for a drive when you ungarage your car!

Yeah absolutely you'll have to come check out Superfly or the Akron AutoX some day. There's a bunch of us that always go on cruises and what not.

Yeah I work for GE as a programmer in Canton Ohio but I'm hoping to be able to move somewhere warm and just work from home remotely so that I can drive my Z all year too haha. For now the mod list is short.

This summer should bring new wheels and coils though. I'll post pics after. Anyone interested in meeting up around the Stark/ Summit county area of Ohio let me know. Every Sunday there's a huge meet/ autocross in Akron that I attend.

 

Do you go to the meet at the mall parking lot off the vernon odot exit on 71? If so pm me, I'll gladly meet up with ya. Always looking for local fellow z drivers!

 

I go every Sunday to Chapel Hill Mall in Akron. There is a huge meet there along with AutoX from 4pm - 10pm. The group that puts on the event has the parking lot surrounding Sears rented out for AutoX and the meet. I want to say last time I raced it was 5 dollars for all day. It's a great time you should definitely come out.

haha yeah it is Superfly. I was there last weekend and there were probably 4-5 Z33's there. Also some dude with a freakin 458 Italia. Yeah stop on down I'll probably be there.
