Default New Z owner!

Hi everyone. Just purchased our 2003 350Z Touring - 42 k miles, Sunset. We pick it up next Friday - but I kinda want to leave it there longer - avoid the temptation of driving it before the snow leaves us in Ontario. It's funny - we had made up our mind on getting a G35 and were waffling between coupe or sedan - then we get the 350Z!! Can't wait for summer!!

Congrats and welcome. I don't know how you can wait that long knowing you can drive it home any time.

It's killing me - yesterday passed a 350z in my (small) hometown - exactly same model and colour!! Cried a bit.

Angry

Thanks - may have just had 2 days added to the pickup date (was supposed to be this Friday) cause of the foot of snow we're supposed to get - car is 2 hours away, right in the middle of our snowbelt. I hate winter.

Default Got it!

Picked her up after a week delay (snow storm, ugly highway). (For those that don't want to read back 2003 Touring, 6 MT, Sunset Lemans 42k.) Jumped in at the dealer on a perfect for driving sunny February Friday. Roads clear and dry - told myself I would stop to load CD's for the drive, get a little familiar with interior etc. Never stopped. 2 hours of driving to get home on a boring highway run and I could have driven all day...... Car feels and runs great and is bone stock. I have always been a stock fan so probably will be doing no mods. Once home she's in the garage - we are getting hit with more snow today so she's gonna sleep awhile longer. Once I clean it, I'll post picks.

Question - The first 10 minutes of driving are a little rumbly with a bit of vibration that feels like tire slap - then smooths out. Dealer put 2 new tires on the rear - Yokohama Avid W4S - common condition with this tire? Does it stop after a little more wear in?

By the way all, I've been driving POS (plural) for the past 10 years or so - first real car in ages......

Sorry for the no pics, but after seeing some of the cars on this forum, I want her at her best!

Sorry for the delay. Pics of my Z.
Took me a while to figure a way to delete the plates. By the way, why do we have to do that? I drive around with my plates in the open; what can happen if we don't blur or delete the plates?

Ya - I get that people don't want their plates out in the net; just wondering what the bad people could do with it......
