Default New 06 Owner, Looking For a Better Stance

Wide Body Stance

Hi, new 350z owner here.. I just picked a 2006 up yesterday from a little old lady who was the original owner.. Now that I dropped a bomb on the purchase price, I'm pretty limited on dumping to much more into it for the time being.. What I don't like is the factory stance so I'm looking for some low cost ideas for getting a wider/better stance like the below pictures.. I was thinking maybe some spacers and some new tires that are larger? Any ideas?

Thanks for any help..

PPW for the WIIIIN

20mm spacers up front and 25mm in the back. WORLDS of difference. Now for lowering, how much $ you got?

I have about a grand extra, not including the spacers because I have the cash for the spacers in my Paypal..

Sorry, what does "PPW for the WIIIIN" mean?

Edit: I just dont want to have to do anything to the fenders like roll them..

Thanks again

PPW is the color of your car: pikes peak white.

Welcome and congratulations.

The possibilities are endless. Decide if you want to go performance - wider wheels and tires or ghetto - spacers.

I'm old school and just cant get into the getto look.. I have nothing against black rims but thats just something I personally could never get used too.. That was the look back in the day when someone had their rims stolen so they replaced them with some junkyard wheels. I'll be the first to admit I'm a Porsche poser since I cant realy afford one..

Just get some staggered wheels. I prefer Volk TE-37's. 18" in the front and 19" in the rear or upgrade to the oem volk gt wheels which have the 18" in the front and 19" wider wheels in the rear.

If you want a good stance, it will cost you some money. and you will have to roll your rear fenders--EVENTUALLY.

Just read around here, find set ups you like, and make your money work for you.

I really like those Volk T37's in silver but they run $2600
They sure would give it that Porsche look though.. Any generics available?

Drop the car, roll the rear fenders, throw on 20mm spacers up front and 25mm spacers in the back.

In my opinion, that is the cheapest way to get a a better, more aggressive stance. All can be accomplished for under 1 grand.

Do I have to have the car re-aligned if I drop it?
And when you roll it, do I just rent one of those roller tools?

The Z in my avatar is provided by the forum. It's not my car.

You should practice this search technique we've all been talking about. All these questions have been answered

Welcome

You should go with some spacers, lowering springs and an alignment since you're on a tight budget.
