was up guys new to this particular forum but not forums in general. meeting up with a guy tommorow to swap my custom silverado for a 06 interlago fire 350z. biggest downfall is it is a base model so no cruise. and judging by the research ive done on here, its not going to happen. anyways im pretty stoked about it. dropped 1" but he says it settled to 1.5" and its got some 20x9 and 20x10s. heres pics of the car and of my truck. What are some must have diy mods you guys reccomend?

I don't think that wheels are too bad, they're decent imo. What are they axis? Lotta people in the forum run em. What kind if exhaust does the 350z have? I would say get a shorty antenna.

side note, interlagos is the only other color from my chrome i considered, gorgeous...but hey man, I purposely bought a base and built up from there....phugg a cruise control and vdc ish...you will be fine, if ya get keys that is hahahaha

 

Um, You Should Look further more into this 350 that you're going to buy. It's an 06 model but It has 03-05 and earlier cheap headlights. Also the reflectors are not the right match for the bumper. Just My Two cents bro. You Should ask the Owner about those, if you haven't already done so. BTW I think your truck is BADASS!

Yea still no keys I meet with him about 7 tonight. Interlagos is a mad expensive color. I work at a shop spraying ppg environs, 450.00 per qt. Needless to say no body kit lol

What other things should I look for? He said he believes the hood has been painted. He bought it at a dealership and no wrecks since the vehicle was in his possession.

 

I dont like low rider trucks, but man yours is sick nice job on the paaint..

 

How many miles does the Z have? You're trading straight across?

 

Are you sure it's an 06? That's make a difference in what the price of the car should be. Also, what is the price of the car and how many miles?

asked him about the headlights, i think he knows a little bit about z's. he knew there was a difference between 03-05 headlights then 06. he also said he's getting 370z emblems with the turn signal in the emblem.

 

If you were to sell your truck, how much would you ask? Good thing you checked the vin to make sure it's an 06, although it sucks you didn't get one of the best things from the 06 model year (headlights, at least you still got the 06 taillights, LOL)). It looks like you are determined to buy this car though so as long as you are happy and everything checks out more power to you. Good luck.

it seems to be pretty good what all flaws do yall see in it? other then its a base model z. im not familiar with the changes through out all of the models.

not really a fan of the tinted headlights and rims. but nice truck tho!

 

the rims arent so bad to me but i dont like the tinted headlights at all. looks like my350z.com has a new regular member

and just because this color is so crazy

this thing is a blast to drive and maintaining speed with no cruise is rather different then most vehicles. its almost like since they didnt put cruise in the they made it where pushing the petal is softer. so heres the thing i have to learn. this car has a competition clutch in it. its kind of a paint in the ***. one of the more harder clutches i have ever driven. any opinions on it? the clutch is real soft. probably could push with one finger.
