Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and looking to buy an 07 z but have some questions that i thought some of you could give me your opinion on. Right now im looking at an 07 z with a rebuilt title for 10,000. im kinda skeptical about buying something with a rebuilt title because i dont want to have to deal with issues later. they said they are willing to have the car inspected prior to purchase though. my question is should I test drive the car, have it inspected and risk it at the good price or wait till i find something without the rebuilt title thats gunna run around 17k? i figured even if i have to spend another lets say 3 grand to fix a few things thats still only 13k for the car. and it would only be a summer car for me that i plan on modding and keeping for quite sometime as a project car. thanks guys, looking forward to joining the family lol

I've always had a personal rule that forbade rebuilt/salvage vehicles. There's too much risk involved for me, plus when/if you decide to sell it, every potential buyer will be thinking this exact same thing.

yea thats true. I talked to the salesman today and he said he is actually using the car right now as his daily driver because his is getting fixed and he hasnt felt anything strange in the car except for the clutch engaging high.

this is the car. it looks like the exterior is in great shape but mechanically wise it would need to be inspected.
