Z looks clean. Congrats.

What is the obsession with quick release steering wheels (general question)?

Thxs, as for the quick release. I think it will come in handy when and if I get racing seats and I think it just a cool feature to have.

Nice Z. I saw your thread on Tennspeed, but I don't most much over there. You should bring it out to the autocross at NSS next weekend. I'm usually the only 350 out there.

^ yea i thought about it but wasnt sure how much the front bumper would get banged up and how hard it would be on my tires.

What is you setup like? Coils and good tires? How times to do you to run your car?

You'll likely hit a few cones. They sometimes leave a black smudge on the bumper, but it wipes off with just a damp rag. It's not nearly as bad on tires/brakes as track days, since the runs are only around 60 seconds each. We typically get around 6-9 runs, depending on how many cars there are.

I've been running on just lowering springs and sways suspension wise, but recently added Koni yellows with sleeves and stiffer front springs. Kumho XS 275/40/17 tires. Half the cars there will be stock or nearly stock on high treadwear street tires, and only maybe 10-20% are on Hoosiers and "fully prepped" for their class or close to it. I'm pretty new to it myself, but it's a lot of fun.
