Default 2005 35th Anniversary Edition for AutoX

Well, after looking for a few months, I stumbled onto this 2005 35th Anniversary Edition. My son and I were looking for a car for autoX. Was really looking for a Track model in the earlier years and this one came up in my searches. How did I do? It has 68K miles, but interior and engine seems good. Only issue is a clutch pedal that sticks once it gets hot. I don't like the grill on the front - but that should come off pretty quick. Lots of paint chips, but inspected and paint is original. Is there any chance this could be a car worth keeping instead or racing/modifying? I just thought that since it already has 68K miles, it isn't classic material anymore - maybe I am wrong? Love the car though - handles amazing, love the Rev-up engine and it doesn't seem like an oil burner to me. Thought I would post a pic and get all of your opinions. Upcoming mods for car to get ready for autox include wheels, tires and shocks. Looking for Track wheels. Need to keep mostly stock for SCCA CS class. Love the forum - great site as well.

Welcome to the forum. Was going to say, get some lightweight racing style seats if you're going to be serious about AutoX, but if you're planning on keeping it mostly stock.
