New Z owner in Atlanta
Hey guys, I bought my Z 2 weeks ago and have been too busy enjoying it to actually post here lol. I have been a Z fan my whole life! Dad had a 240z and 300zx when I was growing up so my first sports car experiences came from that. I had a 2008 F250 4x4 Lariat fully loaded.. but the big 6.4l chipped diesel drank fuel... and with diesel being more expensive than premium I decided it was time for a change. I had been looking for about 6 months for a z... when I killed the ford, Found this one and here I am lol.
Anyways its a 2004.5 enthusiast (According to the vin, the knee pads and seat belt extenders) it had 53k miles when i bought it nearly 54k now.
I went up to z1 motorsports in Carrolton the third day I had it and bought a z1 plenum spacer and test pipes. The previous owner had just installed a JWT Pop charger but adding the stuff from z1 made a definite difference.
It also came with a pretty sweet stereo and tint.
I am looking at changing the rims to the 18" factory ones, but powder coated black.
Next step is choosing an exhaust and figuring out if i want to re-flash the ecu or get some sort of engine management and tune. (Suggestions welcome)
Here is a pic of my car and then part of my wifes 2011 Mercedes c300... lighting sucks in my parking deck:
Anyone here going to the Z1 nationals this September? I know I will be there.
Also my car came with VDC, I thought the enthusiast only came with TCS?
