Default New to me 350z

Yep. I bought a Solar Orange 2007 Nissan 350z base. It only had 15k miles on the odometer.

I can't wait to pick it up on Monday evening.

I actually traded in my 2010 Kia Optima. But don't laugh. I picked that car up in May to save some dough, but it was so slow and boring. I just could not stick with it.

Before that I had a 2006 Subaru Impreza STI:

Before that I had a 2004 Dodge SRT-4

Thats a clean Subaru. Good choice on getting a Z. I like solar orange, nice find. Welcome to the z community, just a heads up, search before you make a new thread to avoid getting chewed up and spit out, and if somebody says something you dont like about your car, just use it as constructive criticism if possible. Other than that, you're golden

Not sure I should say it here, but I regret trading it in.

However, the point is moot now. I cannot wait to pick up the Z.

AGP 3" CAI

BWoody solid motor and tranny mounts,
AEM UEGO Wideband,
MSD Spark Plug Wires,
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

How do I know if it was already done?

It looks like my VIN falls under that range, so I will call Nissan.

Do you think it will be covered at the dealer? Powertrain warranty is good until 10/18/2012.

former SRT4 owner here. Never owned an STI but I pretty much had the choice of any car under $25,000 and out of everything I had driven the Z was by far is the most fun.

You had similar mods to mine, I made 270hp 325tq was hella fun but the Z is a whole new monster.

Thanks.

I'm also on the lookout for winter wheels/snow tires.

If anyone can give me a heads up it would be appreciated.

I've looked online at the major tire places, but am trying to find the best deal (maybe in a 17 inch setup). I also found some on here but some already have offers in progress or the member doesn't want to ship.

I just went ahead and ordered from Tirerack.

I went with a square setup (as people seem to indicate on here it is fine, and it will be nice when it comes time to rotate them).

Picked up 225/55R17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 tires and cheap 17x7 black Sport Edition A7 wheels.

I should be set.

No pics today.

Work 7am-5:30pm. Drove half hour to dealer. Sat in the customer lounge for an hour. Finally they were ready to finish thing up. Got done at about 7:30. Took a half an hour to get home. Pitch black out and I was tired and hungry.

Same thing tomorrow, it will be dark when I leave here and dark when I go home.

Pics on Wednesday for sure.

Btw, although the buying experience was decent in terms of ease of purchase I can't say I was a fan of their actual customer service. Waiting forever. Didn't even wash the car. Gas tank was almost empty. Front tires only had ~22psi in them.

EDIT:

Btw, any advantage weight wise to the OEM 18" optional chrome wheels? This one has them, not sure I like the look. A little too blingy.

That does sound like a semi crappy buying experience. Best of luck to you!
