The final check to make sure of your model type would be to look at your steering wheel. If there's no cruise, no TCS and no VDC - you have a base model, meaning there is no traction or stability control on your car.

This.

Also, this section is for introductions/showing off the new ride. So you may want to do one of those along with asking your questions or people may get a little mad

If you do not have a VDC or TCS button then you do not have TCS. Members with TCS often ask how to disable the feature. Members without TSC often ask how to add the feature. Life is funny that way.

Nice color and welcome. It looks like your missing some bolts that hold the front bumper to your drivers side fender. What's up with the writing on the windows, did you get it at an auction? Also who was the previous owner? Unless you put that shocker sticker on the window I'm afraid the previous owner might of been a boy racer or drifter. I use to see those stickers a lot at drift events on other peoples cars, I might of even had one on my drift car back in the day.

Welcome, she looks a little rough around the edges but hopefully you got it for a good price.

I would suggest you read this entire thread just to get familiar with the Z platform and the forum itself:

Welcome! Looks like you might have gotten a deal, looks good though

Be careful coming from FWD to a RWD with no TCS

I specifically got a base to not have any of the nanies or weight associated with the upline models.

I have added everything I wanted and now have a "perfect" (for me) 2006 350Z.

Welcome.

Do you know how much weight cruise control/TCS/stability control add?

43 ounces? I have homelink, cc steering wheel audio controls, quaife LSD & 4.083 FD etc.

I am referring to leather and other upline things.
