I just got an 06 Redline Touring Z, before i bought it i definatley wanted to remove the muffler, but realized it would look like hell. From going to local car meets, i've seen people just unbolt the muffler, or put some spacers between the bolts, and i've also seen some "custom" work done where they cut the muffler off and run straight pipes where the muffler was to your factory tips, so it doesnt look like an SRT4.

it's not necessarily a spacer, its kidna just a washer that you can put on a bolt, put 3 or 4 of them on the bolts and it will do the same thing as a muffler delete, and if you dont like it, just take the washers off. IMO its better than a delete cuz its way easier to change, and it looks better because you still have it attached.
