Just bought a 350z

It's a 2006 Nissan 350Z, base trim, 6-speed manual, with stock rims. Its engine is a VQ35DE 3.5 L V6, 300 hp and 260 lb·ft. The only modifications are an air filter which adds about 10..20 hp and an Alpine sound system sub-woofers custom designed for the 350Z trunk. It has never seen a winter or salted roads, which any Canadian will tell you can destroy your car. It looks brand new outside, inside, and underneath. It looks more new, in fact, than brand new cars on car lots around here who cannot escape our winters. I'm looking to get a vanity plate that says "XONA" or "XONACOM" to show off my passion for video games (Xona Games is my own indie game studio), but not sure which yet. One shows off our xona.com address but might be misread as a full word "Xonacom" and the other is more true to our Xona Games name and looks more unique with less letters, but does not inspire one to check out our website. If you have any newbie tips, feel free to share!

Congrats, but I'm sorry to say that you're aftermarket air filter will add about as much HP as your Alpine system, which is...nothing. You're not getting 20 whp with that mod. Where'd you get that number from?
How many miles?
How many miles?
pbn85,
I can see the air filter doesn't connect to any intake/airflow that the 350Z has, and it's too bad. I was doubting the HP it added already. The number range of 10..20 was from various sources, none official. It has 53,000 miles and basically looks brand new. No rust except heat scars on some cover panels. Apologies for the poor vocabulary, as this is my first car that I'm proud to show off and I'm still learning.
Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Bmurray350z,
I don't compete in video games. Well I have actually at PAX East this year (came second in their Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 tournament), but that's to the extent that I have competed. That and on Xbox LIVE leaderboards on certain games I love. How about you? My deep passion in gaming is more from making games, which I have been doing a long time: http://xona.com/about.html

Welcome, I bought mine 3 months ago and it is my best birthday gift to myself and I havent regretted one moment.. As far as the vanity plate situation.Just go with your xona thoughts.Drop the price paid..IMO it might come off as a dick move. You want to keep the folks that are unfamiliar with the Z guessing you paid a fortune for it
Enjoy and be safe man

Oops, I wrote that wrong. I didn't want to put the price paid, I just wanted everyone here to know my reasons for putting Xona Games on the plate, to help me decide what to do. And the reasons were two fold: 1) my passion towards gaming and 2) gaming paid for the car. I admit #2 doesn't matter much and is just by chance. #1 is where it's at. I'll change the wording in my intro post above so it doesn't come off wrong anymore! I'm glad you mentioned this!
I bought mine the day before my birthday too! My first real drive was on my birthday! Wasn't intentional, but the best birthday day gift ever to myself as well!
