Default I Need Some Help

Hey guys my name is Kevin and I have been looking for the right 350z. I have done my research about the cars and know the differences between each model year. Anyway I have two good deals and I was wondering If I could have your assistance in choosing a vehicle.

2004 Touring - 29,000 miles - $13,250
This car is in pristine condition, not even a scratch on the car! Leather seats are immaculate and the engine has been well taken care of. The car is silver (I forget the name of it). The owner is a relatively young man (30's). 2 owners and no accidents.

OR

2008 Base - 23,000 miles - $16,100
This car could be in better condition, rims have some major curbage but engine is pristine. It also has some rock chips but nothing major. Interior is well kept also. Car is Nogaro Red. Owner is most likely in his 20s. 1 owner car, no accidents.

This car would be daily driver in NY so that means light snow (1"-2"). If you guys were in the same situation, which vehicle would you pick? Please I don't want a HR v. DE debate, just which car you would pick and why. Thanks for all your help

Mods, sorry if I put this in the wrong section, I figured I would be a new owner with the advice given.

What do you plan on doing to it? I'd consider the HR simply because it's newer. Are you buying outright or plan on financing it.

Welcome. Even though the 2008 is a base, the mileage is a bit lower, and you can always switch out the rims or have them cleaned up. Unless you particularly want the Touring, as the leather has heated seats, which might be a bonus for you in the Winter. Also the leather tends to wear better over time if feed on a regular basis with leather conditioner, fabric can look a bit tatty when mileage starts to get up. Once again you can have recovered.

The 2004 sounds like it may have had a good owner that's looked after it currently. What's the engine like, oil clean, clean inside and engine bay??

Both are modable, with the HR having more bhp, but the DE having more torque.

Really depends what you plan to do with the car, any power mods in the future????

Lol, I'm not helping am I.

Yes I would be buying out right, no financing.I don't plan on modding either car so its not like if I buy the touring model Im going to use that saved money for a turbo or something. Engine wise both cars are clean, moderately dusty engine bays. Oil is good, both were changed recently. The 08 has some cosmetic issues while the 04 is immaculate inside and out. Here is a slideshow of the 08 car:

HR Nogaro Red for sure!

it's a much better deal~ for +3k AND less mileage while it is a newer car as well.

unless you really like silver, then I'd go for that, but HR !

I have an 08 myself.

2008, because of the HR engine/ the Nogaro Red/ the upgraded headlights ...etc Since the wheels have some major curbage, thats perfect excuse for yourself to upgrade to a set of wheels that you like !

Well I chose the 08 350z because of that wonderful HR lol. I'll have the car next week, assuming this car checks in the CarFax. Thanks for all your help folks!

P.S. - If anyone has a good set of black wheels for sale and/or a VLSD or aftermarket LSD please pm me. I'm interested in these parts but don't have much extra money to spend.

Sorry to overload this thread, but the vehicle is on a lien. I've never purchased a car on a lien, does anyone know the process? How long does it take?

No worries I will. The issue right now is how to get the title when the car has a lien on it. If anyone has experience with this, please share.
