Newest new guy with a 350Z
Hello, I'm the newest new guy with a Z, here to share info about this car. Feel free to ask me anything about auto body stuff, because that's what I do for a living...
This is my sports car history:
My third Toyota MR2, and the truck I still own:
The 350Z I just bought, a 2005 Touring:
Now I am immediately going to the tech section to harass you with a question!

You're doing what most noobs don't do, search!
If you read the tech section/forum long enough, you'll find the answers to all your questions plus a whole lot more... no need to harass with questions. Enjoy your stay, love the mr2 btw.

Nah, I did search first before I signed up, but didn't find an answer... There seems to be much more activity in the tech section here than another board I joined, so I signed up. Figured I should introduce myself before I posted a question though... Thanks for the comment on the MR2. I miss that car.

Stock CT26. Honestly, the more popular turbo mod is the smaller CT20B turbo for faster spooling, but I was satisfied with the power that thing put out with the boost at 14 psi! It's been 5 years since I drove it, but I'm not sure I think this 350Z feels faster in acceleration. On paper it should, but I don't feel it in the butt dyno... Alright with me though, I'm older and have no intention of racing it. It feels like lightning compared to the V6 4x4 I've been driving for 5 years...

I'm an auto body painter by trade, and I painted one in that color last fall, and thought "this is the color I want", but it was the girl model with the rag top and auto transmission... Second choice was the yellow pearl!
