Default new 2 Z 2003 enthusiast? Le Mans Sunset

Old guy, old Z, picked it up a week ago with 49,500 miles on it. Lots of things to do. Ordering up a sound system, leather seats, window tint and shopping FI. I have already removed the carbon fiber eyelids (?) from the headlights, didn't care for it. I come from the land of jeeps but have some past experience with Mitsubishi. Specifically Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. The modded Talons felt a bit more powerful than this NA modded Z. I'll get it there though. Please bear with me as I learn the lingo and ask stupid questions.

Chris

thanks eh, The wheels and the color were two of the big reasons that drove me towards this car. The 49,500 miles didn't hurt either.

Can't wait to see the revised wheels and new tires on the Z, Chris!

PS - I loved the Eagle Talon (and Conquest TSi)! They were fast for the times (and not bad by today's standard even).

Welcome.
Congrats on finding a low mileage z.
Also, that's a beautiful CJ, I'm a Jeep guy too, I currently own a TJ but I have also owned a YJ and CJ, thankfully z's don't have a fraction of the problems that Jeep's have, I haven't had one problem with my z in 10 years other than a door handle going out.

Thanks on the CJ. It was always one of my favorites.

Looking at the list of mods I was dreaming about and the progress I have made. Seats, Nav, Sound system are all done. FI is ready to go on. Fuel pump is changed, wide band O2 installed and I added high flow cats. I have the 600cc injectors, cooler plugs, procharger with upgraded pulleys and intercooler ready to install. I have an Osiris cable to tune with.

After experiencing camber wear I am pushed toward upgrading my suspension before I install the FI. I have PSS 9/10, SPL upper/traction/camber links and tires should be here on Monday. (thanks Scott) Wheel centers are going black and I am going to polish the lips. The wheels had some blemishes and are being a chore to polish. I polished one lip to see if it was going to be worth the work. I would like to do brakes at the same time, just don't have the budget for them right now.

Some temporary wheels/tires

subwoofer and cabinet that is stuffed into the stock sub location. I did a kenwood nav, hertz components in the doors/A pillars and amp stuffed under the glove box. Overall a very clean install and sound reproduction is quite good.
