Angry 08 Nismo

Hi everybody. I just got mine!!! 08 Silver Alloy Nismo 0677??? Serial number plate is missing but got a dealer looking for a replacement... The number 0677 is on all the VIN stickers on the car... The dealer has been "working" on it for 12 weeks now.

Given each of those plates were manufactured for the particular car, maybe why it's taking a while. Even if it is a simple thing.

It's an eye sore for nismo owners if it were to be missing/loose/scratched. As mention it would be awhile for a replacement and it's gonna cost!

Are we talking about the same thing? I think most are referring to the number plate the shifter?

yes.... however... on my car each body panel has a sticker on it with the VIN number attached/stuck to it;for identification. above the VIN number on each of these stickers is the number 0677...... I am wondering does your car have the same??? Does that number "Match" your serial number???

quick update: So my local dealer sez that he is still unable to order the replacement serial number plate bcuz no one knows the correct procedure to do it???!! He has made numerous phone calls and he claims no one is returning his calls or e-mail... WTF!!?? LOL!!! I am seriously annoyed at the local dealership. I did hafta go by threand sign an affidavit f ownership as the dealer said that it was required in order to a new plate! 3and a half months and still no promising words from the dealer. he NON-Nissan dealer that I bought the car from did however promise to pay for it!

Last night I went to a meeting of the local Z car club and got to check out sum nice cars. One other Nismo was there. Nagaro red #0871 I believe.
Didn't find any help with how to expedite the odering of my replacement serial numbered plate for my car though...

Allrighty then... I got a call from the local Nissan dealer that has been trying to get me my replacement NISMO serial number badge for my center console.... "FINALLY" with an answer!!!! According to Nissan USA the serial number badge "CAN'T" be ordered any longer!..... Are you kidding me!?!? WTF!!!! 7 months and this is not the answer I was looking for!!!! Can anybody "HELP" me! Do I need to write a letter to the NISMO factory and beg for this part or what???? And I "still" have no idea of what the serial number of my car is!!!! At the very least if I knew what the serial number was then I could have the badge duplicated locally....... Maybe?????

yes that's true... I saw the serial number plaque on this forum... She is a new owner. And I still have no idea what number my car is or even who to contact in order to find out... So much for Nissan customer service!!!
