Don't get the Stillen SC. You have to buy this ugly hood to make it fit. Those rims HAVE TO go. They're hideous on Z's. If you just want your car to be fast then 5-7k is probably good for a used turbo build if you don't want to change your wheels. Some guy on here bought a used Greddy kit and installed it and had it tuned for something like 6,300 so you've priced yourself in there for sure.

That's not true at all. If it's a twin turbo you could run your oem y pipe and oem exhaust. If it's a single you should be able to just hook up your oem exhaust to it. With that said, it does make a ton more sense to upgrade your exhaust if you're going FI as it allows for way better air flow (means more hp). So, no you don't have to upgrade your exhaust system but it would be very smart to do so.

No such thing as a 350Z being a monster street car and then being able to truly daily drive it and trust the car.

Just looking for insight as to what upgrades to get and which ones work well together or upgrades that shouldn't be paired. Thanks y'all

To accomplish something close to your "goal", you are about $25,000-30,000 short. There's more to being fast than just power.

Just stick to NA if you want to DD and it's your only car.

You said the OP needed to upgrade his exhaust system when that's not true at all. It would be smart to but he doesn't 'need' to.

Thank you for your service OP.

If your serious about being "the meanest car on the road". Which I assume means you want to be able to smoke anything you come across. You need allot of hp. Bolt ons wont do it unless you just want to be a "moderately threatening car on the road"

Built Motor and Turbo's. No other way to dominate the way your talking about.

OR

LS series motor swap with FI. SC/Turbo

Also research, research, and more research.

Good Luck Soldier.
