Default No Z Yet...

I am looking for a vehicle upgrade...I currently have a 97 Miata. I bought my Miata because I wanted a cheap track car that I would also enjoy driving on the street. It was fun for a while but now I only track my motorcycle and my Miata is purely for the street. I still love the car but want something that is more comfortable and a little newer. After running through all the options I think I am pretty set on getting a 350Z.

I joined here with the hope that I will be able to narrow down exactly what I want. Right now my musts are that it is a convertible and a manual transmission...and my budget is $15000. Any ideas or tips are greatly appreciated.

Here is a picture of the last time my Miata saw the track (March 2012 )...along with my R6...

Read through this subforum: https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leasing-396/

With $15k you could find a low-mileage 03-05 DE ZR or a high-mileage 07-08 HR ZR.

But honestly it all depends on what is on the used car market around you when you have the money and are ready to buy.

Good luck

Awesome. Thanks! I did not see that section when I was searching around.

I just have to wait for my husband's vette to sell and then I am going to start really looking. Being not too far north of LA I am hoping that I will have a bunch to choose from...although I noticed that most seem to be hard tops.

Welcome to the site. I think you'll really enjoy switching over to the Z.

Thanks. I am hoping to test ride one soon. Really I am just hoping that it is more comfortable than my old Miata on the freeway.
