Default From muscle to Z

Hey all, I'm new to the Z (and import) world (I've been looking for quite some time but finally bought)... Sold an '06 Mustang GT and just picked up an '08 350z! It's kind of steep on the miles (84k), any tips on things I should look out for/do to preempt any issues? thanks and glad to be here!

Welcome to the forum. 84k isn't tooooo bad. These engines will easily go 200k+.. just take care of it. I'd change all fluids, and probably be ready for new plugs soon (usually around 90k i believe)

I'm about an 1hr 1/2 away from ya in Burlington. Check out CIN Motorsports in Charlotte. Best G/Z shop around here by far. Tell them Brandon Murray sent ya

Thanks guys! I'll definitely check out CIN too! I like to turn my own wrench in my free time so it's good to have a shop near by for dyno tuning and what not. Thanks for the tip about the sparks -- was planning on changing them anyway!

Welcome and congratulations. As the others have said, keeping up with regular maintenance is key. VQ motors are known to last upwards to ~200k+ when well maintained properly.
