Arrow My Z and thanks everyone for the help!

Thanks to help of everyone here, I bought my first Z. Here is my original link to my thread asking on opinions for it: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...ne-please.html So far it's been a blast to drive compared to my old sc300. Oh how I've missed driving a manual!! The performance clutch is taking a bit to get used to but I'm getting the hang of it. Everything seems to be in great working order but there are a few things I'd like to upgrade on it.

I really need to clean up the car so I got some of that scrubbing bubbles all purpose cleaner stuff. I'm gonna wash down the interior with that and put on some aerospace 303 protectant. When I get the chance, I'm also going to clay and wax it too. It kinda pains me that my 1993 sc300 was a bit cleaner than this z but I'll do my best to make it look as good as it can. I want to take out the seats and vacuum underneath them too but I'm still in the process of researching that airbag light. I don't think my seat has side airbags and definitely doesn't have any power options on it so I'm assuming that I shouldn't have to worry much about it. Fortunately, there is a write up on here that shows to clear the light.

The first thing I did was put LED's in the interior. I really dislike the yellow bulbs so all of that really had to go. I got all of that stuff really cheap ($15) but apparently the 2003-2004 enthusiast models have this weird soldered in bulb in the vanity mirrors. Apparently I can't just switch those out but was wondering what anyone has done with that? Maybe I can just switch out the visors with a newer model one but wasn't sure if the connectors were the same?

I'm currently in the process of installing a new head unit too. Having the stock head unit really makes me miss not being able to play my own music. I've bought a decent pioneer double din which will get installed very soon. I found a deal on craigslist for a Zenclosure box with a cheap rockford fosgate sub in it for $80 so that will be next on the list to install. However, It rains a lot where I am so I'm very weary of cutting open that rubber gromet to route the amp power cable though. I've heard horror stories of people getting their passenger carpet soaked from not properly sealing it. Also bought one of those cheap CCD reverse cameras for about $16. Actually that camera is the main reason for buying a double din head unit. Never had that feature before so I'm sure it'll come in handy in the Z since you're very limited in what you can see.

I was thinking of getting some cheap coaxial speakers to just run off the head unit too. I know it's always better to run your own wires to an amp but I just want to get by on that until I pay off my car a bit more. Anyone have any recommendations for it? I see that these are highly rated and very affordable:

. I talked to crutchfield and they recommended me to get these: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2064CS654/Kicker-40CS654.html. I guess either or will fit the bill though.

Here's some pictures of the car:

It really does desperately need a drop in the rear (Nismo springs don't lower it much) but I think everything I listed above is about the extent of what I'm going to mod for now. I wanna focus on paying off the car rather than put too much more money into it right now.

I used to own a 240sx back in the day and It's nice to finally get back into a nissan!! Feels so much cheaper than the lexus but it's quite a bit faster

Welcome.
I just reset my airbag light, I forget where I saw the sequences to do that.

You'd know if your seats had the side airbags as there is like a pouch running down the side and the letters 'Warning SRS Airbag'. I think I'm right in saying that if you have airbags in the seat then you'd have curtain airbags as well, these run along the top of the windows and are in the headlining and again these carry the SRS warning signs.
