Default New owner :)

I am now the proud owner of a 2003 350z!
It is basically stock other than a cat and resonator delete and an OBX muffler. this was put on by the previous owner, its nice and quiet but makes a good growling noise when you put your foot in it but is a little raspy when you rev if you are not under load. I love the sound of VQ35s.
Anyway here are some pics, let the flaming begin for the smoked tails

Why was it repainted? Clean title?

Its a clean title, previous owner just wanted that color i guess, never been in a major collision. Anyway, I like the color and I get quite a few compliments on it.

The colour isn't too bad. A little flat for me.

I was just wondering if it was repainted because it was salvaged.

Nope, I do agree with the flatness though. I was thinking about doing some black accents like the door handles and a carbon fiber hood to cut through some of the orange. What do you guys think?

Less is more. The handles would look good, but I think the hood would be too much.

I dont mind how the tails look but if you get up close it was done pretty poorly, the tint must have been the spray cause its blotchy and has runs.

Awesome, thanks. I did some searching around on headlight restoration but couldnt find exactly what im looking for. I polished the outside of the lenses and the driver side looks really good and clear, but the passenger seems to have some yellowing on the interior of the lens. Anyway to clear that up or should I just order some Spec D housings or something similar?

they also have the silver ones.... just have to look for them since alot of people are going to the black... what you could do is crack them open, and paint the silver parts orange to match the car

I might put a light tint on the headlights to see what it looks like, that way you wouldnt be able to see the yellowing

I agree with doing light black accents on the body. Things like the door handles, those little divets on the front bumper below your headlights, and maybe.... JUST maybe the little nissan logos on front and back. Also, try to restore those headlights if possible. They would look a lot better being clear instead of faded
