Unbelievable Find:
My wife's dream car was a 350Z but she couldn't bring herself to give up a backseat so she got a Mustang instead. Nonetheless, every so often I would get online to see what was out there and last Thursday I came across a 350Z that made me rub my eyes and look back several times. It was a 2005 35th Anniversary Edition with 1,446 actual miles on it and it was taken in on trade at a dealer 10 miles from my garage door.
I figured it would surely be gone but I drove by on Friday and it was still there. I got out looked it over and found that it had more than the advertised 1,446 miles on it. It was now up to 1,483. I took it for a test drive bringing the miles up to 1,492, took my wife back on Saturday for her to see and drive and pushed the miles up over 1,500 by 3.
At the end of the day it was resting comfortably in her parking spot in our garage. We're gonna miss that Mustang.
The story behind the car is that in 2005 a local businessman bought it for his wife and she didn't want it. ????? He took it to the garage and only drove it to exercise the drivetrain and rotate the tires. He wanted a new truck and figured it was time to give the Z a new home.
Now he's happy, my wife is happy and when mama's happy, we're all happy.

Can't believe there is still such low mileage Zs out there. Pix of the mustang?
just kidding, no one cares.
Welcome to the Z world!!!! well, welcome to your wife!
I don't believe that is a 35th anniversary model. I think the 35th anniversary model was only equipped with a 6 speed manual. From the picture you posted, it seems to be an AT. Also another way to tell is the redline should be 6900 (rev-up) rather than the 6600 that I believe yours has. I believe it is a grand touring (hint the brembo brakes). Someone please correct me if im wrong about it being a grand touring.

The 35th comes in auto and manul but if you did get the auto you did not get the rev-up motor. Only the manual came with the rev-up motor and higher redline. Also the fender Z emblems are a slightly gold color with gloss black inserts while no 35ths are silver and flat black.
Not to rain on your parade, but be aware that some things age even with no driving. Of course, all the fluids should be changed, especially coolant and brake fluid, while the belts and hoses may have some deterioration, too. I'd also run some fuel injector cleaner thru the system, and give the tires a very careful inspection. None of those things are difficult or all that expensive to service, and I'd do them ASAP. Anyway, enjoy the car, and I can't imagine you'll miss the Mustang all that much.
