Default Hello family lol

I just picked up my 350z its a 03 daytona blue touring model. 1 owner (female) 76k miles. Got it for $12,000

So far im pretty happy with it. But with age some things are expected the tires in the back have not much tread left and the front lower control arms need to be replaced and I dunno if its my driving or the tranny is going bad, but sometimes I grind gears I think its me because the clutch is VERY stiff (I came from a 02 honda civic) and I think my hands moving faster than my foot.

As far as driving, I enjoy the power alot, I have done several things so far to the car.

- Window tint
- oil change
- stubby antenna
- Kenwood radio (got rid of the stock junk)
- K&N drop-in air filter
- New battery
- I also bought a motordyne basic plenum spacer, ive yet to install it.

I keep hearing the HR model is the way to go and the DE is crap. To me it feels powerful and ive yet to even install the plenum spacer.

PICS

Is it 2-3 or 4-3 when it grinds?

Honestly it varies. I can be going like 80mph and shift into 3rd fine. Sometimes I grind in reverse. Im 80% sure its me, im not used to the stiff clutch yet so I move me hand quicker than my foot. Like the other day I was stepping on it and was trying to shift quickly and caught myself not pressing the clutch in quick enough and tried to force it into 3rd I freaked out! Lol the car just seems to not be a quick shifter. I feel like it takes me 2 seconds to shift gears

I really like the stock rims and ride height alot. I was thinking of lowering it and getting some aftermarket rims but honestly it looks so good stock. I might just get the stock rims powder coated black. Ive already scraped the front bumper a couple times and its now even lowered.

Street ravings bad.
You can change the shift light.
Shift at 6k.
And stock to stocks one thing. You never know what your dealing with modified. He could have no interior and all the bolt ons. Or could have spray, or been boosted. Who knows? It's a civic yes, it's down the food chain now.

I have a question about the plenum spacer. I got the basic one so I didnt get the lower gaskets or anything other than the spacer and bolts.

My question is....

Can I install the spacer ON TOP of the plenum gasket, or do I need to remove the plenum gasket? Im trying to avoid taking off the bolts that connect the plenum. Will it be ok to leave the plenum gasket on or will it cause damage or leaks?

You've got one of those transformer radio head units... It's a one din in one pic and a dual din in two others.
