Thanks guys!
The auto-crossing event went well. NRSCCA put it on and did a great job.
Very humbling experience...definitely need more time behind the wheel....any time behind the wheel in general would help. I literally haven't driven the Z since the race last sunday.
My buddy went with me, he has a 2014 Ford Focus ST. I came in about 2.5 seconds behind him. He drives his car every day though, so I'm sure that helps a bit. Also, my tires look like this(attached). LOL. Times wise the best time of the day was a spectacular veteran driver in a very auto-x built car on slicks with a low 54 second time. My buddy had a 59.6, my best was 62.4. Goal is to break into the 59's on the 23rd, when we'll be having another event here, even with these tires. Definitely going to be a different car next spring with new tires.
Anyway, very fun though, and definitely look forward to doing 3-6 events per year.
