Default new 2004 350z enthusiast owner from longisland , NY

whatsup everyone! just got my new to me 2004 nissan 350z enthusiast edition in lemans sunset. I think i got the car for a steal and a half with 48,000 miles on it.. exterior is in great shape minus a few circle spots on the trunk / roof where the previos owner let sap sit on the car for a long period of time and it ate through the clear coat. the car also had a nasty exhaust leak which is another reason i feel i got a good price.. ive also noticed in my time of ownership that its one of the 350's where the rpms seem to bounce +/- 300 rpms when shifting gears driving somewhat aggressive... also tested it by punching the throttle and the tach bounces.

Overall i'm happy with the car and have since put the stock exhaust back on and it sounds fantastic and its nice to get to feel the real power of the car. Let me tell you this was a nightmare the old exhaust system seem'd to be some type of knockoff kit and was completely rusted out.. i had to grind out and sawzall out the bolts at the cats and after the y pipe.. then ran to mieneke real fast and they torch'd the studs off the cats for $20 not bad they really hooked me up.

here are some pictures let me know what you guys think!

i have no clue why the tach bounces really.. one guess could be the car for most its life wasn't daily driven and sat in a garage during the new york winters. i could be completely wrong about this but its a guess.

it doesnt really bother me much though because when driving normal it doesnt tend to happen... only when i decide to push the pedal to the floor and start driving aggressive it will happen.

Damn that is cheap as hell. I bought my 2004.5 touring about 4 years ago with 30,000 miles for $14,000.

I agree it could be that mine has done the same since I bought it but it doesn't really effect anything
