I don't think that is Solar Orange unless it is a repaint. Solar Orange only came on the 2007 models.

I forgot about that.

Damn, that body kit..

NA power = $$$$$$$$$ for not much whp
Reliable power = Vortech Supercharger with conservative tune ($6-10k)
Big power = twin turbos with aggressive tune ($10K+++)

My 2 cents = get an exhaust and call it a day. 250whp is enough to have fun and it's not worth the value of the car itself to double the power. The best bang for your buck seems like a Vortech Supercharger to me. Potentially well over 100whp increase in power for $6k in parts. Install it yourself and get it tuned for around $700 and it might be worth it but that's still approaching half the value of the car.

There is soo many routes you can take with a 350z in the mod game because of the ridiculous aftermarket support. Do a ton of research before you start dropping coins. I initially wanted more power too but decided against it after researching.

I need to stop reading threads like this while I'm eating my oatmeal. To each his own, though.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the advice. I'm probably going to start with an exhaust, for now, then as I keep learning the car upgrade some more.

I guess I will be "that guy"; the interior looks awful, those seats...ugh, the body kit is odd, the wheels and tails are awful, the wing is ricetastic and worst of all, it is an automatic. It looks like an extra from a Fast & Furious movie.

I do like the color though.

considering how old the 350z is, anything under 80k is good.

Welcome and congrats on picking up that great looking '06!

Since you mentioned it's all stock, I'd personally recommend potentially just staying stock intake (for now) with good drop in filter. But, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger and just go for the "full" Motordyne TDX system with art pipes for your exhaust and not waste time messing around. One thing for certain is that from day one with the full MD exhaust (tuned) you will see what all of the talk is about and you will never have any doubts or regrets, guaranteed.

UpRev tune system, Wheels, brakes, suspension items also in the early phase/s.

Good luck with that hot new car and have some fun with it!
