Default New ZR Owner

I picked up an 06 Touring ZR with 46k miles a couple of weeks ago and just got around to taking some pictures. So far I've replaced the Bose HU, OEM cubby, and added a ProClip phone mount. I'm working on having the switch covers hydrodipped.

Previous cars were an RX8, Mini Cooper S, G35, and most recently a Frontier. After driving the truck for a while I got bored and decided to pick this up. Loving it so far.

Looks like a nice, clean ZR - congrats from a local coupe owner.

Who's doing the hydrodip work for you? Hopefully not this site's vendor JM Auto Racing.

Thanks. I'm getting it done at a local stereo shop.

Wise choice dealing with a local. Post some pics when it's all done. I had all the crappy rubber-coated parts in my '08 interior done, and I think it looks pretty good. Had to have it done twice, though, as JM did such a sh!tty job the first time, and took almost 3 months, too.

Thanks. I'm surprised how nice your center console still looks. Mine started to peel after the car was about 2 years old, and I barely touched it, but I think it was the worst in the '07-'08 cars. Treat yours gently.

I wasn't sure if it was black or SMB, but it is a GT.

Well I already replaced the cubby above the stereo. That part was pretty chewed up. The rest of the console isn't bad but there is some light paint chipping around the gauge pods.
