New to me 2006 350ZR
Been lurking around a bit and wanted to post up. Recently bought this from an estate sale. Touring model with very low miles (34K) and has been garage kept it's entire life.
I had been looking to buy an RX-8 (former RX-7 and Miata NA owner). Unfortunately finding a good RX-8 is impossible. Sorry, but few people seem to understand the RX-8 and the issues with it. All the ones I looked at seemed to be on their 7th or 8th owner and 2nd or 3rd engine by now. Most owners had no clue how to deal with a Rotary engine. Shame, because they RX-8 platform is pretty sound and with proper care the engine does fine.
Anyway, after punting on finding a decent RX, I looked at the NC Miata. Nice car but was just not quite powerful enough. Briefly looked at the Honda S2000 but WTF, is there an S2000 without a Salvage title?
So....I finally looked into the 350Z. I am happy I made the decision to get one. I always liked the way they looked but had no idea how nice they drove. It's a keeper.
It will likely remain stock as I can see no reason to change it. Other than the horrible stereo and speakers + the black paint coming off the interior it is perfect.
Thanks for looking. A great site y'all have here with a wealth of information here. Especially about the Dugan Drift Debacle Deal. Very special holiday coming.

CongratZ ! Your car is virtually identical to my '05.
Just a heads up....Some (not all) '06s with the manual transmission had an oil consumption issue. Check your oil regularly.

Thanks, I have been checking the oil pretty frequently. Which is no mean feat with that crazy dip stick the engine has.
So far no oil used so I may have gotten one of the good ones! This one had a really late build date for an 06, May 2006 so I may have avoided the issue completely. "I hope"
