Unhappy Just got my first Z

hey guys i recently just bought a salvage titled 2006 nissan 350z. its got a couple of problems body wise and probably needs a bumper, passenger seat airbag, suspension work on the front left wheel, and maybe another light. My first issue at hand is that i want to get a duraflex bumper for it but it doesnt come with the front bumper reflectors. since i have to get the car inspected will that make it fail?

We always recommend to stay on the legal side. Transfer over any reflectors, lighting or OEM safetey equipment (when possible) to your new Duraflex bumper. Stay safe!

The missing reflectors won't make it fail, but an ill-fitting bumper will make the car look bad. Do your homework on which bumpers fit the best, with the least amount of work.

im not so worried about fitment on the bumper i have found. but mostly about the car passing inspections to go from salvage to rebuilt since the bumper will does not have a reflector opening in the bumper.

i also wanted to ask if maybe there is a way to make a hole for the reflectors to fit in the new bumper ( even though this sounds like a major stretch).

its actually really great when you get one with 97k miles for a total of 2323 that still runs but just needs a new bumper passenger airbag and lower control arm and tierods for one side of a tire.

Sometimes saving a few bucks isn't worth the headache/time associated.

Once the frame is fk'd it can never be brought back completely. I don't care how good your body guy thinks he is.

Default update on car.

well the car has been running for about a couple of months now with no issue other than me having to change the spindle. The check engine light that i talked about earlier was caused by the intake not being connected to the throttle body unit. all in all i am happy with the purchase. and also the cars drives in a satisfactory condition like any other z.
