Default Another Z

Hey guys! So about 3 years ago I had a 07 Z. I sold that and got a G37 coupe. My fiance and I recently had a baby so I got rid of the G37 and bought a Jeep. Spring time is here in CT so I got the itch for another sports car. I loved my Z so I just Picked up a 2003 Z. Its in great shape with only 65K miles. It has a Nismo cold air intake and a Nismo exhaust which sound great! My only problem is it does have the infamous 3rd gear grind. I have read that its either the syncros or the tranny will need to be replaced. So I guess what Im asking is what should be my plan of attack to resolve this issue. Im sure this has been discussed on this site before so if so please just point me in the right direction. Thanks guys!!

I don't see it on their site. Can you hook me up with a link?

Behold the Power of the Z !

Of all the other "sports car" choices out there, you came back to it.

You might also try changing the oil in the gearbox first, as it's quick, and a whole hell of a lot cheaper than a new CD009. Redline MT85 might just do the trick, as well as being maybe a bit more deliberate when shifting.
