maybe you should read comment again I didnt tell someone they cant drive have the knowledge and say I can'tt do it. If someone wants to be rude and not knowing anything about me that's a lack of knowledge. As for the rest I've been on the scene for 20 years. I know it's a costly sport but it's what I like. I came here c as use I'm not sure of the best setup or style for the Z. I'm now wanting to know instead of just paying. So if all want to be rude it's good im sure someone give good answers. Thank you for you're post. If anyone has suggestions on what works good on z please suggest. Thank you.

+/-$57k to make 650hp - 800hp somewhat reliable?? Sounds reasonable right?

Jasen - if you think you want to go down this road I would highly encourage you to do so ... it may be (eeehhhhh ... outside of college and professional exam/certifications related to your RN) quite possibly the most fulfilling you'll do in your life.

I wouldnt let anyone who's 'hating' discourage you (as this is the main function of this forum) but I would listen to what the respected members of this forum are warning you about.

next, go to the bank and get out $57,000 in cash and sit in on your coffee table and ask yourself if you want a built rocketship Z sled or you want that $57k in your bank account.

I have more than $57k invested in my setup (including the car) all things considered since buying the car back in 2005. Would I do it all over again?? I can't answer that question but damn, it's been a fun ride and I'm a much smarter and well rounded person as it relates to cars - which sometimes money cannot buy.

If you decide to go down this route create a build page to document your build, trials, tribulations
the as no you for you're input. It does a lot of help. My Z isnt stock and I've been working from bottom up. I really appreciate you're advice. 57k is cheaper than a lot of other cars and this will be wh as t I want so I think its cheap

It's whatever you want - its your money, your car, and ultimately your decision. If youre serious about moving forward research research research, make a budget, make a schedule, make a plan, mimic what others have done on their builds, and dont reinvent any wheels.

Start a build page with pictures and keep it updated.

Thats all I got ... give 'em hell

I have a ls7 motor and trans that I'm selling out of my 2015 z28. It has ported heads , aftermarket cam, Intake , arp head bolts , short shifter etc . I will give the exact list to a serious buyer . Comes complete , motor , trans , harness and computer . Made over 600 to the wheels . $13,500 for everything . Have that in mods . The mods have 500 miles on them , drivetrain has 4k miles
