Default Couple Questions guys!

So looking to upgrade my exhaust, i already went to very test pipes and was just thinking of some good cheap options cat back with y pipe included. My budget is around 3-5 so invida and tomei are out of the option.

Also with wanting to uograde my diff since i am a base model. People have been saying the diffs are all interchange but some axels have to be change form the vlsd to open models? i was looking to pickup another open diff so my car is still up and running while getting the weld done. Any pointers on finding a open diff for pretty cheap? or can i buy an vlsd and swap that in incase anthing were to happen.

Not sure what year yours is, but if you're 03-06 I know any other 03-'06 diff will bolt right up (DE motor), and I'm pretty sure '07-'09 (HR motor) diffs will bolt up as well. 370/G37 diffs will also work, but I think you need to swap the pinion flange that connects to the driveshaft.

Look for a used exhaust setup locally (craigslist / facebook marketplace). Look for a quality name brand ... $500 will go a long ways as long as you don't mind it being used.

So 03-06 diffs will swap over without ANY extra parts ir anything? Even if it’s a VLSD into the base model, open diff setup?

No one in my area is willing to let theirs go for less than 800 which is a tomei so i was thinking the spec D exhaust since it’s one of the ones with the most reviews and sounds clips

All 6MT 350z, 370z, & G37 coupe has a 4 bolt pinion flange, whereas all 5AT has a 3 bolt flange. If its 6MT to 6MT everything bolts up.
