Default Hello

I'm Kyle,

Recently picked up my 05' Z after 6 months of searching, got the color I wanted too.
From research so far I have to do the NTB04-065b (Axle click fix) and get new rotor discs, muffler has a rattle too.
70k miles, clean inside and out, drives really smoothly. Has rear camera installed from previous lady owner too.

Here she is,

I don't have much plans, want to keep it stock, looking at Volk TE37 rims as a long term goal, hyperblack - thoughts?
Dyno soon to get base output and look at some diagnostics, the mechanic I have claims to have all the hardware needed which will include a tune.
First upgrade would be the exhaust after dyno so we can look at what improved and by how much, this should fix the muffler rattle too - must be something loose inside the muffler.

Dream car at 26. Over the moon!

I've tried to look up what model it is, but the dealership was terrible to deal with and i'm struggling to find out if I have a base/enthusiast/performance/touring etc..Perhaps anyone can fill me in? The vehicle has the Bose audio system and VDC button.

Safe driving fellas.

It isn't a base model. It has buttons on the steering wheel indicating it has cruise control. My 04 base model has no buttons on the steering wheel and no cruise control.

Input your VIN here. Pretty sure it should work on your car despite being non-USA car.

I tried that during purchase of the vehicle still throws out "This VIN does not appear to be valid".
Nissan want to charge me for a certificate, thinking about just doing that.
Although on another model they provided me with manufacturing dates & location.. weird how they want to charge me for this information now.

Thanks though!

Quick update:

Did the NTB04-065b (Axle click fix) - it didn't fix the click, fml. Must be something else. It may have minimized it a bit? I am yet to drive the vehicle thoroughly - just collected and went to work.

Upon inspection of the suspension - the following was found.

Driver side Ball Joint worn
Lower control arm bushes cracked

Could the above cause a click identical to the common axle click?
How common are the issues above?

Thanks!

From what I remember, that is a common issue that should be fixed sooner rather than later. I remember many people posting about it years ago.

Thanks bud, seems like the dealership that sold me the vehicle will sort it out soon. Hold thumbs!

Cheers

LCA bushing failure is pretty common. There's a good write-up on this site for a DIY if the dealer doesn't take care of it.

Default My First Z

well on 9/3/18 I purchased a 2019 Black 370Z “””“NISMO””” She’s Automatic with the option to Shift. Where I live you can drive shift but city driving you definitely want Automatic...

issues with Blind spots. I almost got hit. I really Love my Car & Enjoy Looking at her. I don’t drive her very much. We take my husbands 2007 Corolla I have my car since 9/3 & I have 80 miles. Luckily I have a garage so she’s happy. I hope to speak to other Z Owners. Do a meetup in Las Vegas in the Fall. Would be really fun. There’s a big park in Lone Mountain. We could all meet there. Let’s Do This Vegas.....
