New owner with JDM Fairlady Z
Several months back I bought a 2003 Fairlady from Japan. It finally arrived and passed its safety inspection last weekend. LeMans Sunset in colour and rims are Weds Kranze Glossa in Hyper Chrome in 20". I don't like them for the chrome but hopefully I can trade them for some stock wheels or different aftermarket. It has 119K kms on it so 74k miles.

Finally picked this one up. When I picked it up the shipping folks had painted on the windshield. Heritage Leader was the boat. I had to scrape it off with a razor blade.

I don't care for the rims. They are 20"!

Interior is nice. Smoke free.

I've driven RHD before. Had a Hilux a number of years ago. It is not too hard. Although I keep turning on the wipers every once and a while instead of signaling.

Some of the sticker attached. I assume these folks were involved in the shipping process.

Service or dealer inventory sticker?

Must have been resold at 90k.

Panasonic CY-ET909KDZ. A Japanese lady talks you when starting up. I have disconnected this.

Japanese air freshener under passenger seat.

Took a while to figure out how to open the hatch (its be button above the license plate).

Storage behind the seats.

Decent space in there.

Hmmm ...

Speedo only goes to 180 km/h

Auto climate control

Japanese radios have different frequencies so don't pick up Canadian radio stations. My USB FM adapter works though. Good thing there is nothing great on the radio anyway.

The underside is hard to see - it is like new. Amazing for a 16 year car.

Three pedals

Washed it.

First Canadian gasoline fill up.

Drove the 200 kms home.

I have a little Bluetooth devices that plugs into the power port that broadcasts on FM (luckily in range as the Japanese have a different radio frequency range) from a phone. Works fantastic with surprisingly good quality.
Here is the engine start up video. You can hear a bit of the exhaust note. Not sure what a stock one sounds like. In person it is meaty but not annoying at cruising.
