Default Land of Lakes Muscle Car Classic - car photos

So while surfing Craigslist for muscle cars, I found out that there was a huge car show today. Decided it was a perfect day to take out the Z and one of my kids to the show to soak in some sun and drool over some classic American muscle cars.

We got to vote on all around favorite muscle car and favorite Corvette. So this is who I voted for:

The guy spent 2 years restoring this badass car. Said he found her "rode hard and stored wet." LOL

1971 Plymouth Cuda

This is the Vette we picked. 1966 Stingray that is in the process of becoming originally restored. The owner was not finished since he was still looking for the original bolts for the license plate. WTF...

Love the old school canards on this one:

And this is very similar to my HS car. My Buick was a Skylark with a 350ci engine. These are the bigger brothers.

Yeah, I was drooling like a little kid in a candy store. I noticed one common theme, though. Almost all the owners are older, as in 50+. I guess they bought their toys when they were in that right place and spent years building up their cars.

You must wonder who the caretakers of those cars will be in 20 years
