Hi, everyone my name is Will and this coming Monday is my 20th birthday. I'll be headed out to buy a 2006 350z from a local dealership. I have 0 experience working on cars but I have experience with all kinds of tools from a small background in engineering. Although I believe that my research was enough, it still seems like there's a lot of things that sort of go un talked about. Does anyone have any advice for someone just getting into things that typically wouldn't be seen in a YouTube video or other posts here?

Welcome Will- the best bit of advice is to remember that only a hands-on inspection of this Z will reveal its true condition. Not Utube, not a discussion board, or facebook. Get ready to locate and pay for a written assessment from a local Nissan tech who does assessments only. Expect to pay from $100-300 for several hours of professional work and be sure to ask any questions when the report is complete. This is NOT the inspection a dealership provides, but one YOU pay for.
