Default Motordyne XYZ pipe question

So does the Motordyne XYZ pipe with the optional resonator replace the stock catalytic converters?? It also says they have a HFC option available but its gotten me confused now lol. So if i get the Motordyne XYZ pipe would i HAVE to replace my stock cats with a resonator or a High flow cat?? I thought Y-pipe was seperate from the catalytic converters?

Or, as one of the options, you can run XYZ with a cat aft of the Y-junction; BEHIND the cats OR test pipes (in this case MD ART pipes).

Catalyst equipped XYZ may or may not conform in 49 state cars, definitely will not in California.

So if i were to get the Motordyne XYZ pipe with HFC that would replace the stock catalytic converter?? Or would my car now have a regular cat and a Highflow cat?? Im like confused on that part because why does XYZ include a high flow cat when i thought the y-pipe was seperate from the stock catalytic converter. So i would have to also take out my stock catalytic converter when installing my XYZ pipe with High flow cats??

so in order to run the XYZ pipe i have to either get one of those options resonator, straight pipe, or High flow-cat?? I cant just buy the XYZ pipe by itself and bolt it on? And i meant to reply to you on my response above but messed up 🤦🏽‍♂️
