Need Some Advice
I’ve recently had the opportunity to buy a 2004 350z enthusiast coupe. Car has 36k original miles, it doesn’t sit but is rarely driven. Haven’t had a chance to see the car in person because it’s in another state. I know the early year Z’s have some transmission issues amongst other things. For those of you who know these cars well, is the car worth taking time to look at and possibly buy? I don’t know how sitting and not being driven frequently would effect this car or what future problems may arise.

Moved to a more appropriate forum. My own suggestion is to to locate a local mechanical assessment service to check out ANY car you're considering buying. Yes, it'll cost you $100-300, but it's the only way to know what you're buying and what needs repair. Expect to get a written report for that fee, and yes, storage and lack of any operation can negatively affect any car, even one as good as the 350Z.
Man I would have loved to have something with that low of mileage on the car. I would do some research since you are going to be coming from a little away and go check out the car. I have worked on cars that have sat for years and didn't seem to have too many problems just from sitting. Good Luck
