They do but they're special numbers, and they never leave, basically they become caged animals, who either get destroyed via testing or, turn into a lil' cube

yeah probably #1 went to someone in house or even sitting over in nashville somewhere. i know they had some 0000 preproduction cars. # 350 was at a dealer somewhere in new jersey a couple weeks ago

check your vin. All of us 07 owners actually have a z34 not z33.

Whoever ends up with #350 will be luckiest. The number will most definitely have a effect on the collector value in the future.

Why would they crash test a nismo edition? It's not like it would be any different in a crash, I'm just they just use a regular model.

thats not the chasis code a 2007 350Z is still a Z33

its a coincidence its Z34 (Z3) is 350z on the VIN code (4) is 2 door hatchback code

Not to get OT here but for the sake of keeping track of the Nismo Z's 477 and 478 are at United Nissan here in Vegas.

A buddy of mine who picked an enthusiast over Labor Day saw them both.

I bought my 03 at a Washington state dealer who had production #1. I remember asking, "no, that's not really #1? Yes, it is. It is."
They had it marked way up and it was the showroom model. A silver track. I think the dealership owner probably just kept it.

Because different body components, suspension pieces behind the front and rear bumpers, and new chassis welds mean the car would behave differently in a crash.
